Low Maintenance Benefits on Insulated Concrete Form Structures

Insulated Concrete Form Homes offer low maintenance to homeowners.

A TF Forming Systems' building is built to last for centuries, not decades. The average lifespan of a traditional built structure in the United States is approximately 40 years. During that time, multiple things can happen to the structure that will jeopardize its strength, including termite damage, rodent infestation and nesting, rotting from natural elements and erosion from wind and water.

Not a TF structure. TF walls are highly resistant to damage from weather extremes, insect infestations and water incursions. The walls are not subject to wood rot or other degradation from the elements. The walls do not settle or shift, eliminating nail pops in the interior, cracks in the gypsum wallboard or other maintenance headaches. In addition to energy savings of 40% or more, most insurance companies will offer discounts of 15% to 25% for property insurance. All of this adds up to significant long term savings and enhanced return on investment in the structure.
